Michael Sakelos

Gymnastics, Ballet, Musical Theater & Jazz Instructor

Michael Sakelos is a native of NYC. He recently played the role of Slap in the hit tap musical "Hot Shoe Shuffle" at the Wick Theater.  Last year, Michael ventured on an opportunity of a lifetime working for RWS Entertainment touring the world as a performer abroad a luxury RCC vessel. Michael had the incredible privilege of partnering with ABT principal dancer Misty Copeland in Joshua Bergasse's "On The Town" for The Leonard Bernstein Centennial Tribute at the Wolftrap Theater in Washington D.C.

 

Other notable credits include: Feature in VOGUE, The SAK's 5th Avenue televised window reveal for Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids, Bob Fosse's: Sing Sing Sing, Crunchy Granola Suite and The Eddie Money Revival Tour. Michael is represented by MSA agency. He's a proud alumni of Pace University’s Commercial Dance Program (BFA) and Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria Queens. 

 

Micheal has a strong passion for choreography and enjoys educating young dancers throughout the nation!
